West and Roache: Problem Solvers!
Characters:
“Indie” Jones Lang: A cool-headed hipster, he dresses in three-piece suits and vintage t-shirts. He carries a 9mm and a switchblade, more because they look cool than the need for protection. Despite this fact, he is capable of using both quite well. He doesn’t want violence in Midtown, but enjoys a good fight, especially if he can look cool doing it.
Coache Roache: he’s Roache. He’s big, surly, and well respected in all parts of The City, he lives with Logan West in an apartment in Midtown, where the two of them run West and Roache: Problem Solvers. Roache is instrumental in attempts to preserve the peace in The City, especially in Midtown. He drinks beer and whiskey, and carries a .38 special.
Logan West: He’s Logan. Cocky, brash, a loudmouth, but he can back it up. He does cool things, and drinks a lot of rum. Carries a big pistol. Drives like a madman. Argues with Roache. Everyone likes him, but everyone also wants to smack him around a little. He’s Logan, like I said.
Max: A friend of Jones Lang, and a higher-ranking hipster. Calls Roache early on in these Tales of Madness after Lang loses his cool during a meeting. A chain-smoking musician who realizes the need for the Midtown Peace to continue.
Danny Bones: The leader of the Dockside Punks. A skinny, tough dude who seems to be made completely out of tendons and sinew. No ones has ever seen him eat food, he seems to live entirely off of THC and cigarettes. Always ready for a fight, and not one to back down from one, despite the odds. A good friend of Logan and Roache, as well as Jones, King Joe, and Jimmy the Muslim.
Jimmy the Muslim: A constantly stoned guy who moves freely about the subcultures. He’s widely accepted to be the go-to guy when you need something done within the city. A reliable dealer, he’s never late, and never charges too much.
King Joe the Fourth: Reclusive, totally insane King of the Nerds. Lives deep within the walled castle-city of East Bay, slightly north of Docktown, where the Punks reside. Acts and speaks in the manner of the warrior-kings of fantasy, and carries an enormous broadsword. Disdains firearms, and banned them within the confines of East Bay. Joe is a good friend of all the other “good guys”, but he’s hard to track down. He’s also organized a training program, and created a mighty army of really, really buff nerds.
The Queen: The queen of East Bay. A kind, gentle woman, she’s one of the few people who understands what Joe says. She translates for him, and is also very useful in protecting those who seek refuge within the walls of East Bay.
George “Cannonball” Pinel: Indie Jones’ sidekick and protégé.
Rob Bourbon: The Captain of the Jock Nation, who reside in Northern Heights, the fancy part of town. Described by Roache to be “about 8 feet tall with muscles on his muscles” Dumb as a bag of hammers, but hits about as hard.
